John's Gospel - Session 43. Jesus Prays for Us

John 17 is a unique chapter in the gospels because it is the fullest record of Jesus praying. Often He prayed but we don't know much about what He prayed because He prayed alone. But here He prayed in the presence of witnesses - the disciples. The Lord Our Healer

Healing, like every other blessing, has been provided for us by grace through the finished work of Christ. Faith receives what grace supplies. Water Baptism

Jesus instituted water baptism under the new covenant and the apostles and the early Church practiced it.
